Doujin Music Review: Merry
Posted on Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 2:30 PM | 0 comment(s)

Background:
Album released at Comiket 89 and produced by utaite Kano's independent Doujin group. Utaite acts as the vocal for all tracks and album features original songs written by multiple Vocaloid producers such as mikitoP and U-ske.

Ringo's Thoughts:
I am a loyal fan to Kano and I've happily managed to get my greedy hands on most of her doujin releases. Her airy voice is sweet and soothing and she really knows how to utilize it for each song she does. My favorite song has to be the heading track, also titled Merry. It combines traditional band instruments with electronic mixes in the chorus so I suppose you could call it a blended soft-rock style sort of thing.
