Single Review: Lovely Lovely Strawberry

Background:
Solo debut single of Kubo Yurika; a seiyuu most known for her role as Koizumi Hanayo in the Love Live franchise. Released February 17th (2016).

Ringo's Thoughts:
Hanayo's singing voice was one of my favorite among the Love Live girls so I was pretty happy when this single came out. Yurika has a strong and thin voice, which is slightly (but still obviously) nasally. The first thing that came to mind when listening to LLS was that Yurika sounded a lot like Super Sonico. I'm a Sonico fan, so this was perfectly welcome. The tune is poppy and fun and mixed with Yurika's thin vocals, it honestly sounds practically like another Love Live song. I like it...it's pretty standard, but decent.
