Background:Colorful Monster is the first album of vocal girl group Little Glee Monster. This girl group certainly isn't an idol group, but not entirely a performance group either (since they don't dance), so it'd be best to categorize them as a 'vocal group' as I have above.
About:
The album was released on January 1st, 2016. The full album was two discs, the first being LGM original songs and the second being covers.
Ringo's Thoughts:
LGM is a group formed of vocal powerhouses, despite the eldest member being about 16-17. In fact, Manaka, the youngest, has the deepest tone out of all of them. But anyway, when this album was announced I got seriously excited. There isn't one LGM song I dislike so far, and while I was a bit disappointed when the tracklist showed nothing new, I was still willing to buy it. And I did and I don't regret it. LGM is part of the new generation of musical groups/artists popping up everywhere over Japan nowadays. I look forward to their future.
PS. As of this post's publication, LGM has revealed previews of their upcoming single; Happy Gate
