Background:First album of indie singer Nozomi Mayu. Released February 3rd (2016), roughly a year after her debut single release.
Ringo's Thoughts:
So....this came out of nowhere. Nozomi is apparently a part of of indie singer project called Milky Pop Generation. All the featured singers are female and Nozomi is the second of the lineup to make her major debut under Tower Records. I had no idea about this project so when this album popped up on the Japanese iTunes's front page I was pleasantly surprised.
Nozomi Mayu's vocals compliment the band instruments that work together to make an album with a mellow rockish-pop theme and a cement solid major debut. Nozomi Mayu certainly has potential and her rocker image and deep voice are oddly reminiscent of Aoi Eir if you ask me. She's off to a good start with this album and I'm looking forward to her future works.
