Posted on Monday, March 7, 2016 @ 6:49 PM | 0 comment(s)

Background:
Born March 27th (1992), Yuuki Aoi is a star in the seiyuu world. She entered the entertainment world at the young age of four, staring in dramas and films as a child actor. She made her seiyuu debut in elementary school and got her break at sixteen as Murasaki Kuhouin in the 2008 anime Kure-nai. Since then Yuuki's roles have gotten bigger and better and while she's only 23, she's considered a seasoned veteran and is looked up to by many young female seiyuu.

Notable Roles:
Kaname Madoka (Puella Madoka Magica)
Yagyu Jyubei (Hyakka Ryouran)
Aoyama Mio (The World Only God Knows)
Victorique (Gosick)
Nakamura Aiko (Persona 4)
Platinum the Trinity (Blazeblue Alter Memory)
Tachibana Hibiki (Symphogear Series)
Diane (Nanatsu no Taizai)Tatsumaki (One Punch Man)

Fun Facts:

1. Yuuki Aoi is a professionally debuted singer and a member of the seiyuu-singing unit Petit Milady.

2. She is called a life-sized-doll by her fans as she is but 4'9" tall.

3. Yuuki Aoi is her stage name; her real name is Yabusaki Aoi

4. In an interview she called Sakura Kyoko (another Puella Magica character) her official/eternal waifu

5. She is a very skilled artist

Ringo's Thoughts:
Ao-chan is my favorite seiyuu hands down and one of my favorite singers as well. Not only is she adorable and hilarious on TV shows, but she's also incredibly talented. Ao-chan's range as a seiyuu and singer is the most incredible I've ever experienced in my otaku career. One moment she'll be a sugary-sweet 'moe' loli-type, the next she'll belt opera style and blow your pants off with her vibrato. She's absolutely outstanding and she really does deserve all the work she gets. Honestly words cannot describe how much I love this woman as a seiyuu and artist. I truly believe she is a hundred-year-seiyuu. She's captivating, funny, and a sweetheart who loves her juniors. This woman could conquer the world if she wanted too.
